The University of Southern Indiana, Social Work Department invites applicants for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level. Individuals are sought who have a MSW from an accredited program and two years post masters practice experience. Preference will be given to applicants who have a Ph.D. Areas of teaching interest include research, policy, practice, and social work administration. Interest and/or experience in Distance Education a plus. The Social Work Department is a combined program offering a BSW in generalist practice and a MSW with a clinical concentration. The faculty members are strongly collegial, with a commitment to teaching excellence, scholarship, and service to the University and the region. The University is located in Evansville, Indiana, serving a tri-state area. The University is growing with current enrollment of 10,000 students.
