Manhattan College is seeking adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate courses in sociology on an ongoing, per course basis. Candidates for consideration must have completed a Masters degree, have some prior teaching experience at the college or university level, and be in ongoing pursuit of a Ph.D. Interested applicants with a Ph.D. in hand, including faculty currently or previously employed, are welcome to apply and will be considered as Adjunct Assistant, Adjunct Associate or Adjunct (Full) Professors of Sociology in accordance with their current rank or circumstances. Proven excellence in teaching is a key factor for consideration. We are especially interested in faculty capable of fostering critical thinking and who are sensitive to Manhattan College's commitment to social justice.
