Mentor - Information Technology Program (Remote)

Western Governors University is seeking qualified Mentors who are ONLY located in Indiana, Utah & Arizona to serve IT students. Mentors advise students on time management and schedule benchmarks that help students successfully master program concepts, knowledge and skills. Mentors must perform core responsibilities. These include:
* Providing direct, comprehensive program guidance
* Managing students' academic progress
* Scheduling students' learning resources and assessments
* Maintaining documentation of all academic transactions
* Maintaining regular communication with students

Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong technology and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt.

Preferred Requirements:
* A master's or doctoral degree
* 3 years industry experience
* Prior teaching or training experience
