Research includes high power and high frequency gyrotrons for plasma heating, terahertz gyrotrons for spectroscopy, novel vacuum electron devices, high gradient accelerator research, and high power microwaves.
The research program is described at http://www.psfc.mit.edu/wab/. The Plasma Science and Fusion Center offers a diverse program of research in all areas of plasma physics.
