The Department of Political Science and Geography invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in American Politics beginning fall 2011. A Ph.D. is expected at the time of appointment. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach constitutional law, judicial politics and behavior, and public law. An ability to teach political theory, women and politics, African American politics, or research methods is an asset. ODU is an Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity Employer.
