Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution, dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service, is seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor, a 12-month non-tenure track faculty appointment in the Athletic Training Education Program. The University is a Carnegie Research Extensive institution and currently employs over 3000 full and part-time faculty and enrolls more than 13,000 students in the graduate, professional, and undergraduate programs. The Athletic Training Education Program is a freshman entry Master's program. The Program attained CAATE accreditation in the spring of 2010.

The Athletic Training Education Program is housed in the Allied Health Professions building. This building has classrooms and laboratories with state-of-the-art teaching and research technologies. There are 3.5 FTE's in the Athletic Training Education Program, who teach in the entry-level Master's Program, engage in scholarly activities, and participate in service to the University and the community.

Rank: Instructor/Assistant Professor, non-tenure track (Based on qualifications)

Position Qualifications
Required
- Master's or equivalent degree, in Athletic Training or related field
- BOC certification and eligible for Missouri licensure
- Experience teaching in a CAATE-accredited Athletic Training Education Program
- Experience as an Approved Clinical Instructor
Preferred
- PhD or equivalent degree, in Athletic Training or related field
- Experience as a Clinical Education Coordinator
- Clinical Instructor Educator
- Scholarly experience

Position Expectations

- Scholarship in area of expertise
- Participation in University and community service
