The Division of Education and Human Studies at Champlain College seeks well qualified applicants for
a Program Director / Assistant Professor in the Psychology program. The Psychology Program combines
psychology, communication, and management courses for graduate school preparation or employment in
entry-level positions in a variety of fields.
Responsibilities include the administration of the applied psychology program, teaching undergraduate psychology courses (9 credits per semester), curriculum development, internship oversight, academic advising of students, and participation in college-wide academic governance. Administrative duties extend beyond the academic year.
An appropriate terminal degree is required with specialization preferred in a nonclinical area. The successful candidate will have college level teaching experience. Experience in program administration is preferred. The ideal candidate will have the ability, energy and enthusiasm to explore new directions for a psychology major.
