PROFILE of the UNIVERSITY

ROLE of the POSITION
The College of Business at UNLV, an AACSB accredited college at both undergraduate and graduate levels, invites applications for two full-time, 9-month, Assistant Professor positions to start Fall 2011. The positions involve teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, conducting significant research leading to high-quality refereed publications, and performing service activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must have a strong academic record and have demonstrated potential for excellence in both research and teaching. A doctoral degree in accounting from an AACSB accredited school is required, but ABDs near completion will be considered. An interest in teaching financial accounting, managerial accounting, accounting information systems, governmental accounting or international accounting and conducting behavioral research is preferred.
SALARY RANGE
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Positions are contingent upon funding.
