Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
This full time, tenure track position requires the applicant to teach classes and conduct research with undergraduate majors in chemistry and related fields. Teaching responsibilities will include lecture and laboratory courses in general chemistry, organic chemistry, as well as upper level courses for chemistry majors. Additional departmental and university duties include service on committees, advising students, participating in special projects and similar activities. The successful candidate will be expected to have a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and to develop an externally funded productive research program.
Minimum Requirements for Entry into Position:
The candidate must have an earned doctorate degree in chemistry with background in organic chemistry, and is expected to conduct scientific research involving students to enhance their research exposure.
Preferred Requirements for Entry into Position:
Expertise in biomedical nanotechnology applications preferred

Three letters of recommendation, research plan and copies of degree transcripts should be attached to this application. However, if selected for interview, official documents must be presented.
