Istanbul Sehir University, Turkey, invites applications for full-time positions in Management
Information Systems. Positions are available for candidates at all ranks beginning in August 2011 or
earlier. Successful candidates, once hired, are expected to fulfill their respective Department's
requirements with regard to teaching, research, record of publications, and service to the
institution. Junior candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. at the time of appointment. All
candidates should have an excellent command of English and a strong commitment to teaching and
research.
Istanbul Sehir University (SEHIR) is a newly founded, private institution owned by the Foundation for Sciences and Arts based in Istanbul, Turkey, which has been dedicated to research and teaching in social sciences and humanities for the last 25 years. Building on a quarter-century of experience in education and research, SEHIR aims to be an elite research university in the whole region. The medium of instruction is English. The campus is located in Dragos, Istanbul, on the shores of the Marmara Sea, overlooking the beautiful Princess Islands.
