Information Technology Faculty

Role:

Develop the maximum potential in students by providing effective instruction in line with course and program goals to meet the needs and aspirations of the students and the community

Monitor and review courses and programs for relevance and identify areas of improvement

Promote student development through the use of technology-based learning

Develop and utilize the varied learning resources available to provide effective, innovative instruction

Ensure that student progress is continually assessed and communicated to the student

Support ongoing curriculum development to assist improvement of educational content in courses

Proactively assess the potential for new technologies and its suitability in higher education and its mission to meet the demands of the market place

Establish and support links with industry to ensure students awareness of real work environment

Promote student development and creativity by supporting students to participate in industry projects, seminars, conferences, and professional competitions

Requirements:

Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, CIS, MIS or directly related discipline

At least 3 years of classroom teaching or corporate training experience in the above discipline(s)

Relevant Industry experience or clear exposure to industry projects or consulting in an academic setting or evidence of leadership role in a professional industry-related professional organization

Fluency in both written and spoken English
