Job Description: Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management assumes a leadership role in the
development of a culture of retention and graduation on campus (Integration of programming with Admissions, Financial Aid and Registrar is a
necessary component for success within the Enrollment Management Unit.) Oversees College-wide undergraduate retention programming including
academic advising initiatives, as well as First Year Experience Programming with the goal of providing new students a smooth transition to
college life and ultimately enhances student retention and graduation and new student orientation programs. In addition, will be responsible
for oversight of the Student Engagement components of First Year Seminar and will supervise the Testing Center which includes providing
placement testing for matriculated students, as well as serving as a testing center for other constituents with the goal of generating
additional revenues for the College.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Master's Degree requires from an accredited college or university in a field related to the area of assignment of equivalence as
determined by the appointing authority. EXPERIENCE: 5-7 years experience in the area of retention, or student development with at least
three years serving in a supervisor role; a working knowledge of current retention theory and the ability to apply this theory to practice
at a public liberal arts college. A demonstrated record of success in implementing new initiatives and strategic planning is a must.
