Indiana State University's Health Sciences graduate and undergraduate programs are expanding, and we need an enthusiastic teacher/scholar to become involved in all phases of the programs. This is a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level, beginning effective with the start of the Fall, 2012 term.

Areas of responsibility include 1) teaching undergraduate and graduate health classes, 2) supervising undergraduate and graduate interns and serving on master's thesis and possibly doctoral dissertation committees; 3) advising undergraduate and graduate students, and assisting with student recruitment; 4) assisting with sponsorship of student organizations; 5) conducting research, and publishing and presenting results at professional meetings; 6) becoming or remaining actively involved in professional organizations; 7) serving on department, school, and university committees, and providing service to the community; and 8) assisting in curriculum development, outreach, and student outcomes assessment.

Doctorate in Public Health, Health Education, Health Behavior, Community Health, Health Promotion, or closely related field required at time of appointment.
Teaching experience at least at the graduate assistant level preferred. C.H.E.S. preferred. Experience advising students preferred. ISU is an AA/EEO employer. Position start date August 2012.
