This position is no longer an active posting on HigherEdJobsDuties: The Plant Operations Facilitator provides a wide variety of skilled and semiskilled tasks in expediting the day-to-day operations of campus facilities. Duties include, facilitating the maintenance and repair of physical assets in a safe, timely, cost efficient, and service-oriented manner. The Facilitator assists in preparing bid specifications, the administration of both large and small construction contracts, monitoring and performance of maintenance, repair projects, energy management and utility operations, housekeeping, building and special services, and grounds maintenance operations in order to accomplish department goals and objectives of the College mission. The Plant Operations Facilitator provides administrative support to the Director of Facility Services and coordinates activities with internal and external organizations/agencies.
Minimum Requirement: An Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in building construction, engineering, architecture, business administration or a related field or equivalent. Four years experience in the construction industry and two years administrative experience. Extensive experience directly related to the position duties, well documented in the application packet, may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
Based on college salary scale, plus an excellent benefit package.
