Mildred Elley, a private multi campus institution, is seeking a Part-Time Online Remote Instructor to teach Non-Medical Transcription courses offered through the Albany Campus Department of Medical Assisting.

Job Description
Under the supervision of the Department Chair the successful candidate will teach Non-Medical Transcription, preparing students to transcribe business, insurance, and law enforcement reports accurately and within turn-around time. These courses will be taught online with some required synchronous contact hours, always engaging students in the career training while relating their studies to the home office as the workplace.

Requirements
Must have deep knowledge of English grammar and punctuation and reports formatting as well as an experienced ear in deciphering dialects. Must possess exceptional skills in transcription accuracy and production within law enforcement, insurance, and business arenas outside of legal transcription. 2-4 years of documented work experience in the field of non-medical transcription is required. Preferred candidates will have testimonials and extensive online teaching experience.

Compensation
Varies, based on qualifications, certifications, and experience.
