The School of Occupational Therapy at Texas Woman's University, one of the top 10 occupational
therapy programs in the nation, is seeking a qualified faculty candidate for our expanding graduate
programs. These include the MOT program, Certificate programs, and the PhD program in Occupational
Therapy. The School of Occupational Therapy operates on three campuses, Denton, Dallas, and Houston.

UNIVERSITY INFORMATION
Texas Woman's University occupies a notable position in higher education as the nation's largest university primarily for women. Six consecutive semesters of enrollment growth have produced a record enrollment of over 13,000 students. TWU is connecting excellence to the real world by:
* Addressing the health care needs of Texans by opening a new Institute of Health Sciences - Houston Center in 2006 and planning for a new Institute of Health Sciences - Dallas Center to be built at TWU's Parkland campus.
* Producing more new nurses and health care professionals than any other university in Texas.
* Helping ease the teacher shortage by placing highly qualified professionals where they're needed most - in the classroom.
* Offering a liberal arts-based curriculum that prepares students for success in an increasingly global world.
* Conducting research that impacts the prevention and treatment of childhood obesity, osteoporosis, stroke and diabetes.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Full-time tenure or clinical track position at either assistant or associate rank in the School of Occupational Therapy. Contingent upon credentials, responsibilities will include didactic and/or clinical teaching; production of scholarly work; direction of masters and/or doctoral research, and participation in School of OT/University service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A Doctorate (in OT or related field) preferred. Must have four years of relevant teaching and/or clinical experience.
