Full-time clinical track position in the Dental Hygiene Program at the Assistant Clinical Professor rank. General responsibilities include didactic, pre-clinical and/or clinical teaching of undergraduate students, course development and evaluation, participation in committee assignments, scholarly activity and service. Primary responsibility for this position will be clinical coordination and course direction for second year clinical courses for undergraduate dental hygiene students. The applicant must be a dental hygienist with a master's degree in dental hygiene or a related field. Applicants must be a graduate of a CODA accredited dental hygiene program, be eligible for Texas dental hygiene licensure, have a minimum of two years clinical experience, and have potential for excellence in teaching, course development and evaluation. Teaching experience in a dental hygiene program is preferred. Screening of applicants begins immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
