Texas Woman's University, founded in 1901, is a public university with over 14,000 students. The College of Nursing has an enrollment of 2,976 and offers baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral programs. The programs in Denton include RN to BS/MS, Family Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Educator masters, Nursing Health Systems Management, and PhD. An increasing number of courses are now offered online. The baccalaureate and masters programs in nursing are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The nursing doctoral program is among the largest in the United States.

QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Denton campus is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner with a master's, and preferably a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree who can teach in the Denton Family Nurse Practitioner program. The successful candidate will engage in teaching and supervision of FNP students while maintaining his or her own practice skills one day per week. Experience with online teaching is preferred. Qualifications include an earned master's degree in nursing with a certificate as an FNP. Candidates should have at least two years experience as an FNP in full time practice. Candidates must be eligible for RN licensure in Texas. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications.
