School of Physical Therapy
Texas Woman's University (TWU) invites applications and nominations for Director of the School of Physical Therapy, to be housed at the Dallas or Houston Center. TWU is a publicly funded co-educational institution that is designated as a Doctoral/Research-Intensive University, by the Carnegie Foundation. The main TWU campus is in Denton, with two campuses in Dallas and one campus in Houston.
The School of Physical Therapy: The School is a nationally ranked, accredited program. TWU has been awarding degrees in physical therapy for forty years. Currently, TWU School of Physical Therapy is offering the entry level DPT and Transitional DPT. In addition, the school offers a PhD in Physical Therapy, one of only 5 in the country. The School is seeking a Director who will foster a climate of intellectual vitality and excellence, and support the existing strong faculty in both the Dallas and Houston Centers, in their teaching, scholarship, and service activities. The Director of the School will be housed in Dallas or Houston and will work closely with both the Associate Directors in Dallas and Houston and with the Dean of the College of Health Sciences, in Denton.

Desired Qualifications:
- An earned
doctorate; rank of full professor preferred
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapist program
- Eligible for physical
therapist licensure in the State of Texas
- A distinguished record of scholarship, teaching, and service at the national
level
- Demonstrated academic administrative experience
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Financial management skills
