Assistant Professor-Biology-14AS-BIO01
JOB DESCRIPTION: Tenure track position as Assistant Professor. Successful candidate will demonstrate expertise that complements the research areas of current faculty in our graduate programs (M.S. Biology and PhD Molecular Biology). These areas include molecular/cell biology, neuroscience and microbiology. The Biology Department currently has 475 undergraduate majors and 50 graduate students. This position requires a Ph.D. in biological sciences and postdoctoral experience in specialty area of biology. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses, graduate courses in specialty area, mentor graduate students, and develop an externally-funded research program. Position begins in Fall 2014.
