Position: Assistant/Associate Professor Nursing

Texas Woman's University invites applications for clinical and tenure track faculty positions in the Nelda C. Stark College of Nursing located in Houston, Texas. Applicants with experience in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply: Medical / Surgical Nursing and Public / Community Health.

The Nelda C. Stark College of Nursing is located in Houston, Texas in the world renowned Texas Medical Center, the world's largest concentration of healthcare academic and research institutions. The Houston Center offers programs enhanced by clinical and advanced technologies in simulation and online learning. The position teaches across the curriculum including BS, RN--BS/MS, MS, DNP and/or PhD nursing programs to match the faculty's expertise and experience. A doctorate is preferred but applicants with a master's degree in nursing will be considered. Applicants must be eligible for Texas licensure. Preference will be given to APRNs and individuals with experience in medical/surgical nursing and community health. The successful candidate will also engage in scholarship and service activities. Rank is commensurate with qualifications.
