A full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the level of assistant professor is available in The Texas Woman's University School of Physical Therapy at the Institute of Health Sciences - Houston. The area of clinical expertise is in one or more of the following areas; cardiopulmonary therapy, anatomy and pediatrics.
The successful candidate is expected to implement a scholarly agenda and participate in services activities (school, university and professional levels). Particular consideration will be given to applicants with clinical specialization. Candidates demonstrating ongoing research and a strong record of publications and grant writing experience are preferred.
The successful candidate will also possess an earned academic (Post-professional) doctoral degree (PhD preferred) in physical therapy or a related discipline, have three (3) years of clincical experience, having teaching experience in a professional PT program and be licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas as a physical therapist. Application review will begin in January, 2014 and will continue until the position is filled. Salary and rank commensurate with experience and qualifications.
