Texas Woman's University, founded in 1901, is a public university with over 15,000 students. Our diverse faculty and staff deliver special educational experiences to a student body comprised of 58% pursuing undergraduate degrees and 42% pursuing graduate degrees. The main campus is located in Denton, a city of about 120,000 located 35 miles north of Dallas and Fort Worth. TWU also has institutes located in Dallas and Houston. The College of Nursing has an enrollment of 3200 and offers baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral programs. The programs in Dallas include BS, RN to BS, RN to MS, Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Educator masters and DNP. An increasing number of courses are now offered online. The CON is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

Position Description:
The tenure and clinical track faculty at Dallas teach across the BS, RN-BS/MS, MS and DNP Nursing Programs consistent with expertise and experience. A doctorate is required for tenure track. A Master's Degree and eligibility for Texas License are required. The preferred specialty area is medical/surgical nursing. Academic or clinical leadership experience is desirable. The successful candidate will also regularly engage in scholarship and service activities. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications
