Delaware County Community College, a competency-based institution, committed to diversity invites applications for a Site Manager for our new Upper Darby campus.

The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Upper Darby Center. Work collaboratively with administrative, faculty and staff to deliver quality services and ensure support for student learning. The Site Manager must be committed to academic excellence, diversity and working in a culture of collaboration.

Primary responsibilities includes but not limited to:- Personnel: Serve as a liaison with college Deans, Assistant Deans and Directors; serve as a voting member on all committees formed to hire site staff; participate in the orientation, training and evaluation of all site staff; plan and participate in staff development programs at this site; serve as the initial point of contact for all adjunct faculty concerns at this site; coordinate with appropriate staff to manage site concerns and issues; ensure that staff schedules accommodate the needs of the site providing an efficient delivery of services to students and faculty.

Academic: Consult with the Director of the SEC (Director) regarding courses offerings at site: ensure that classes are offered in accordance with the college schedule for branch campuses; monitor enrollment trends; produce an annual site report for the Director.

Student Services: Advocate for the provision of services and programs for students to meet the needs of the site; participate in student assessment, advising, and registration; assist with site events such as student orientation, workshops, information sessions and career fairs; schedule College Planning and Placement Testing; manage the late registration process; serve as the initial administrative point of contact for student complaints.

Administrative: Impute site course schedule into Banner; analyze enrollment data and suggest course offerings/changes, etc to the Director; recommend marketing initiatives to the Director; work with the Director in communicating site specific issues and concerns to Branch Campus Operations/the college; assist with faculty/student communication in emergency situations concerning class cancellations and delays; report faculty and student concerns to the Director and coordinate with appropriate staff in order to manage issues; collaborate with the Educational Technology Support Specialist (ETSS) to oversee the internal and online communication systems for students, staff and faculty; i.e. Delegate, Test 100, and Scala; communicate any issues or concerns that occur at the site to the Director; participate in the development and implementation of instruments and processes to gain feedback about the site from students and community members; serve as a liaison for community partners at the site in the absence of the Director; collaborate with the ETSS to make certain that the availability and currency of the site's technology is sufficient to meet the needs of students and faculty.

Facility: Manage all facility conditions and report all problems to the appropriate person or department; ensure that the site's hours of operation and the schedules of all departments provide maximum flexibility and the widest possible access to resources and services.

The ideal candidate must have a Baccalaureate degree; Master's degree preferred; commitment to the community college mission; administrative working experience in an office setting at the college level; minimum of two-three years' experience in staff supervision and program management; Microsoft Office proficiency is required; experience with Banner preferred; excellent leadership, customer service and written and oral communication skills; well-developed problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
