The Neurology Department has an opening for a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Instructor.
The University of Colorado Denver seeks a Physician's Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Instructor to work in the Pediatric Neurology Department at The Children's Hospital in Aurora. Job Responsibilities: This position will provide teaching and clinical services for the Pediatric Neurology in-patient team. Responsibilities include: daily rounding with inpatient team; provide continuity of care and enhance communication between the hospital, community providers, other divisions, primary neurologist; assist with coverage of phone calls; provide follow-up and new consultation; act as daily educational resource and support for families.
Teaching responsibilities include other PNP's, PA's, Residents, medical students and RNs on in-patient care issues. This is a full-time, non-hourly position, located at The Children's Hospital campus.
Minimum Qualifications: Current Colorado State Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner License, graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program. Experience with neurology patient population and pediatric experience highly desired. High level assessment skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neurology patient population and pediatric experience highly desired.
