Position: Visiting Professor, Religious Studies
The Humanities Department at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia invites immediate applications for a part-time, one year, visiting professor in religious studies. The position is for ten months, beginning August 2010, with a total of five courses taught over the academic year. Specialty open. An ability and willingness to teach in the University's core Intellectual Heritage curriculum is essential.
The University of the Sciences seeks an enthusiastic, competent, and effective teacher with scholarly potential. Successful candidates will be competent in comparative and world religions and/or the intersections of religion and science, literature, or history.

Qualifications:
* Master's (required) or Ph.D. (preferred) in a relevant area from an accredited university
* Two years experience in successful college teaching
