Felician College, the Franciscan College of New Jersey, seeks to fill an Assistant Professor position in the Department of English for Fall 2011. The applicant must have earned a Ph.D. degree (by Fall 2011). Candidates should have the demonstrated ability to teach, in addition to their speciality, a broad range of literature and composition courses and the willingness to teach off-campus cohorts. The candidate should have facility in Renaissance literature. An additional interest in 18th century literature is desirable. Candidates must be supportive of the ideals of Catholic higher education within the Franciscan tradition.
