The Religious Studies Department at Hamilton College seeks applicants for a tenure-track position in Asian religions. Rank is at the assistant professor or instructor level, Ph.D. preferred. Candidates should have the capacity to teach Hinduism and elements of Islam. Research may emphasize textual, visual, ethnographic, and / or other disciplinary perspectives but candidates should be conversant with the interpretive perspectives of the history of religion.
