The Division of Arts and Letters offers a Masters degree in theology and undergraduate majors in theology and in campus and youth ministry. The qualified candidate will possess an earned Ph.D. in systematic theology from an accredited institution, exhibit a strong interest in and concern for quality teaching and demonstrate potential for scholarship in the field. Academic strength in moral theology, Catholic Social Teaching and/or church history are highly desirable; previous experience teaching in higher education and in a blended learning environment a plus. Responsibilities include: teaching in the areas of systematic theology and at least one sub-discipline identified above; advising; commitment to scholarly activity and service to the University, community and department and related program areas. Candidates must support the university's Catholic identity and its mission in the Dominican tradition to serve all seekers of truth.
