POSITION
The Department of Art and Design at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater invites applications for an Academic Staff Lecturer to teach a Non-Western Art History survey or intermediate level course in the discipline. The applicant's field of specialization is open, but should include a strong emphasis on non-European or non-western art. Teaching responsibilities include one course in the Department of Art and Design beginning Spring, 2014. An additional instructional assignment may be available in the interdisciplinary Core General Education course, World of the Arts.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum qualifications include an MA in Art History or related disciplines. A terminal degree is preferred. Applicants should demonstrate the ability to examine art and visual culture from diverse cultural and methodological perspectives, including cross cultural and interdisciplinary contexts. Previous university-level teaching experience in discipline is required.
