ROLE of the POSITION
This Prospect Research Analyst reports to the Manager of Prospect Research for the UNLV Foundation. This position will proactively identify and qualify new donor prospects through innovative, systematic prospect identification processes and will assist in the development of strategies for engaging and cultivating major gift donors. We are seeking knowledgeable professionals with research skills and proficient with relational databases including construction of queries and exports.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university and minimum of 1 year experience in prospect research, fundraising/development, libraries, legal/corporate research or similar business experience. Candidates should possess strong time management and prioritization skills; exceptional writing skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately with discretion. The ability to organize, analyze and disseminate a diverse and sizeable range of data with efficiency and great attention to detail is preferred.
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
