Minimum Qualifications

Position Description

The responsibilities of this position are to, represent the School of Medicine in all Telehealth and TeleEducation initiatives. Working with the Director of Instructional Technology for the School of Medicine to coordinate Student and Resident distance learning and to market and promote those services to internal departments, and in coordination with the School of Medicine Office of Community Engagement, and the Office of Continuing Medical Education, help partner clinical and educational services providers within the school to external entities. Additionally, to coordinate the provisioning of technical support services for various video conferencing and distance education/distance clinical care technologies with the School of Medicine Office of Academic Technology. This may include scheduling team members to give direct support, scheduling of conferences, managing conferences live, and in some cases giving direct technical support. The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of the Cisco TelePresence MCU 4515 video conferencing bridge, the Cisco TelePresence Management Suite (TMS), and have a proven track record of establishing relationships and managing a telehealth office. Candidates with a direct knowledge, and relationships within the Kentucky TeleHealth Network are preferred.
