MEDIA TECHNOLOGY COORDINATOR
The position is based at the Women's College in Dubai and the incumbent will be responsible for the following:
* Develop, install, maintain and trouble-shoot professional quality graphic design and audio/video production and post-production systems
* Have a collaborative approach with students and faculty to develop their skills on all systems and achieve curricula goals.
* Work with faculty, supervisor and college system representatives to make equipment and software purchasing recommendations.
* Train students and teach some hours related to introduction to Media Technology
* Provide one -on -one support for students and Faculty
* Liaise with local equipment and software suppliers.
* Maintain and track all departmental inventory.
* Make recommendations on how to get the most out of the facilities available.
* Produce and update technical manuals for all equipment.
* Maintain a department equipment and budget
Requirements:
* Masters Degree in a relevant discipline
* Certification in Final Cut Pro (User / Trainer) preferred
* Experience in broadcast or new media production or experience in an educational facility focused on technical production & post - production required
* Excellent computers skills related to digital media production systems such as digital audio, variety of digital video formats, non - linear editing systems etc.
* Experience in Macintosh system administration
* Prior experience with live / studio recording and broadcasting
* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English required
