Cranfield School of Management has long been recognised as a leading centre of excellence for
research and teaching in Marketing. The School is now seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Strategic
Marketing. The main requirements for this post are a passion for teaching and researching marketing
practices. We expect that applicants will have a recent PhD in an appropriate area.
Previous post-graduate teaching experience is preferred, as well as a developing publication track record and pipeline. Teaching responsibilities would include lecturing on the MSc in Strategic Marketing and the long-established MBA programme. In addition, the appointee would contribute to Cranfield's portfolio of executive development programmes.
Whilst candidates with any marketing specialism are invited to apply, we are particularly keen to build our capabilities in the communications and online marketing fields. We are therefore interested in candidates with expertise in marketing communications and buyer behaviour. International marketing experience would be an advantage.
The salary will be competitive and the terms and conditions of employment are commensurate with Cranfield's standing as a world-class management school. The appointment is available for 3 years in the first instance.
