The successful candidates must be able to teach Biology at the undergraduate level. Particular
focus will be on Marine Biology and Coastal Resource Studies. The ideal candidate will have a
doctoral degree in the subject area, tertiary level teaching experience and research experience.
The candidate will be expected to lead in the development of a Marine Sciences
Programme.
Other duties and responsibilities include: Student advisement; Curricular development / review & evaluation; providing service to the College/University of The Bahamas and the wider Bahamian community; and a commitment to research.
In ALL cases, preference will be given to candidates with strong academic backgrounds, teaching and research experience.
Candidates must possess strong academic backgrounds, teaching and research experience.
Minimum Qualifications: A doctoral degree with teaching experience at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
