ISTANBUL SEHIR UNIVERSITY
College of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Istanbul Sehir University, Turkey, invites applications for full-time positions in the general areas of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research and Mathematics. Positions are available for professors at all ranks. Successful candidates, once hired, are expected to fulfill the department's requirements with regard to teaching, research, record of publications, and service to the institution.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Junior candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. at the time of appointment. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong record of publication and teaching experience. Senior candidates must have an excellent record in research and teaching.
THE INSTITUTION
Istanbul Sehir University (SEHIR) is a newly founded, private institution owned by the Foundation for Sciences and Arts based in Istanbul, Turkey, which has been dedicated to research and teaching in social sciences and humanities for the last 25 years. Building on a quarter-century of experience, SEHIR aims to be an elite research university in the Middle East and Eastern Europe. The medium of instruction is English. The campus is located in Dragos, Istanbul, on the shores of the Marmara Sea, overlooking the beautiful Princess Islands.
