Wesley College Department of Nursing is seeking a full time, tenure track Assistant Professor of
Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing for the 2010-11 academic year. A doctorate is preferred and an
MSN in Psychiatric/Mental Health nursing and teaching experience in an institution of higher
education is required. Candidate will also be expected to teach in a secondary specialty in the
alternate semester when the primary area is not taught; doctoral candidate also eligible for
teaching at the graduate level. The position provides full benefits including retirement plan
options and dependent tuition plans. Salary is contingent upon credentials and
experience.
Wesley College is located in historic Dover, the capital of the state which is easily accessible to Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Baltimore Inner Harbor, and other metropolitan areas within a 2 hour time frame. The Wesley College Department of Nursing offers programs at the baccalaureate, masters and post master's levels and all programs are nationally accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. The diverse faculty is a team of ten full time nurse educators and 25 part time clinical faculty. State of the art technology, including simulation options, is available in the learning resources center and all classrooms provide smart technology for didactic course options.
