Assistant Professor - Criminal Justice Generalist - Tenure Track
Westfield State College Department of Criminal Justice is seeking applications for an Assistant Professor, Criminal Justice Generalist. This is a full time, tenure track position. Responsibilities include teaching courses in the department's core curriculum and developing and teaching courses in the candidate's area of specialization. Area of specialization is open. The ability to teach Quantitative Methods is desired but not required. Faculty responsibilities also include advising students, service to the college and the department, and professional development. The standard teaching load is four courses (12 credit hours) per semester. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ph.D. in Criminal Justice or related discipline preferred; ABD may be considered; JD alone will not be considered. Practical experience is preferred.
