Job Description:

The World Languages area at Howard Community College is seeking creative, outgoing individuals to be included in a pool to hire French Lab Instructors. Lab Instructors teach or co-teach the fifty-minute Lab component of the French class. They create and lead activities that bring students to practice what is being learned in class through oral/aural-focused activities and conversation and evaluate students' speaking and listening abilities. This pool will be utilized to fill Lab Instructor openings and will be accessed when a need arises.

Minimum Qualifications:

Communicative ability in English, advanced ability in French, ability to use common language technology, and some teaching or tutoring experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree, teaching experience, and experience using media and technology in the classroom.
