Bryn Athyn College is seeking applications for the part-time position of head women's volleyball coach. Responsibilities include; developing a recruiting strategy and maintaining contact with recruits, organizing recruiting materials and identifying potential prospects; preparing and executing practice and game plans, strategies and alternatives designed to bring success to the program. The coach must promote a positive academic environment to encourage all student-athletes to strive for academic excellence, providing moral support and encouragement and ensuring the safety and well-being of all student-athletes; maintaining appropriate communications with student-athletes, and managing travel arrangements for the team.

The head coach works within the Department of Athletics, and reports directly to the Director of Athletics. The head coach is expected to support the mission of Bryn Athyn College to enhance students' civil, moral, and spiritual life. In particular, the head coach is expected to support the mission of Bryn Athyn Athletics, which seeks to contribute to the institution's mission through a program that fosters commitment, sportsmanship and charity. This is seasonal appointment with year-round expectations, as directed by the Director of Athletics.

Required qualifications: bachelor's degree from accredited institution; 3-5 years of successful, collegiate women's volleyball coaching experience; demonstrated ability to recruit academically successful student-athletes; excellent oral and written communication skills; and valid driver's license. This is a part-time position.
