The College of Southern Nevada invites applications for the position of Dean, School of Business, Hospitality and Public Services. Application deadline is January 14, 2013.

The Dean of the School of Business, Hospitality, and Public Services provides leadership for faculty, directors, department chairs, program leaders, students, and staff within the School. The Dean provides strategic direction, budget supervision and participates in the evaluation of faculty and staff. The Dean represents CSN to the community of service, and seeks to maintain and continually improve the academic standards of all programs in the School.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's from a regionally accredited college or university in one of supervised academic areas.
  • Minimum of 6 years Related Professional experience and 3 years Related Supervisory experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ph.D. from a regionally accredited college or university in Business, Hospitality, or a Public Service area.
  • Experience with a diverse student population.
  • Experience assessing student learning outcomes.
  • Demonstrated record recruiting and retaining high quality faculty, staff and students.
  • Past history of developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
