Responsibilities: Oversees the strengthening and alignment of all undergraduate education program curricula with their specific professional
content areas, the common core standards, the national board certification standards and the CAEP standards; also supports Sports
Management- a non-school based program in Teaching, Learning, and Professional Development (TLPD); facilitates and supports improvement of
instruction through new initiatives and integration of technology and faculty development; reviews programs and assists with the submission
of state, local, and national reports; chairs the Teacher Education Council; assists in the recruitment and retention of students; oversees
the advisement of students in TLPD; develops a process to maintain student records from admission into teacher education through post
graduations; collaborates and facilitates outreach; teaches one course per year. Qualifications: Ph.D. or Ed.D in Education required. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a higher education institution required. Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a Pre-K through 12 setting required. A strong commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service. Experience in preparing local, state, and national education reports is a plus.
