This position is no longer an active posting on HigherEdJobsSalisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Head Women's Volleyball Coach.
Primary Job Duties: Organize and administer all aspects of a successful NCAA Division III women's volleyball program, recruit academically qualified student-athletes, scheduling, budgeting, ensuring compliance with institutional and NCAA rules, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, physical education or related field, (Master's degree preferred) and 3 years coaching experience. CPR or first aid certification required.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must have a strong knowledge of the rules and regulations of NCAA women's volleyball; exceptional independent judgment, problem solving, planning, analytical, organizational, leadership, teambuilding, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and written & oral communication skills with sensitivity to a diverse population; ability to effectively recruit and motivate talented student-athletes. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite desired.
This is a full-time exempt State position with a full benefits package. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
