Job Description: The Leo Jenkins Cancer Center at the Brody School of Medicine East Carolina University is accepting applications for a Gynecologic Oncologist for a tenure track or fixed term position. Academic rank will be dependent on qualifications and experience. The Gynecologic Oncology Division is clinically active with approximately 500 new patients annually, is GOG affiliated, and supports investigator-specific trials. The Leo Jenkins Cancer Center provides diagnosis, treatment, and patient support and encourages and supports clinical trials in a multidisciplinary setting. Position is a joint appointment with academic appointment in the newly formed Department of Oncology, and clinical appointment in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The successful applicant will join one other Gynecologic Oncologist to provide regional care, and call is shared with faculty in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Salary is competitive. Participation in resident education and clinical research is expected.

Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology and eligible for or possess a certificate of special competence in Gynecologic Oncology from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Inc. or equivalent.
