Job Description:

Supervise curriculum development of early childhood program ages 0-5.

Maintain MSDE standards in program and staff

Supervise and ensure day to day staffing and functioning of program.

Provide training and technical assistance for teachers of all age groups in the center.

Substitute in classroom as needed.

Collaborate with college instructional departments to implement the Lab School component of the program.

Compensation:

$49,330 minimum annual salary. Plus excellent medical insurances, paid leaves and tuition reimbursement. This position is not overtime eligible.

Minimum Qualifications:

BS in Early Childhood Education.

5 years progressively responsible experience in early childhood program.

Meets all MSDE requirements for Center Director.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree in Early Childhood Education.

Experience in programming for infants and toddlers.

Experience in staffing to ensure adherence to MSDE child care licensing regulations.

Experience in implementation of the Maryland Model for School Readiness.

Experience in implementation of the Creative Curriculum.
