The Department of Biological Sciences at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) invite applications for a full-time, non-tenure track position at the Instructor level. We seek applicants with broad training in biological sciences to teach general biology, bacteriology, human biology and other courses as needed. Candidates must exhibit potential for collaborative teaching with lead faculty and teaching assistants and will be responsible for coordinating labs. Teaching assignment may include evenings and/or weekends.
SALARY RANGE: $3,800 per month
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: A minimum of M.S./M.A. in Biological Sciences or comparable discipline is required; Ph.D. preferred. Experience teaching lab-based courses in general biology or bacteriology is required. A background in microbiology-based lab instruction is preferred.
