Responsibilities: Manages the day to day operations of Institutional, State, and private scholarship programs; assesses
individual student financial needs for eligibility to participate in the federal, state, and institutional aid programs; coordinates the
application and selection process for institutional scholarships; provides material to students inquiring about financial aid and
scholarships; reconciles monthly and year end expenditures for all scholarship programs; completes all program certification reports for
student funding requests; reviews submitted scholarship applications; reviews the academic status of each applicant relative to his/her
eligibility for assistance; keeps abreast of current federal and state regulations and guidelines pertaining to financial aid and
scholarships; meets scholarship donors; provides counseling to students regarding financial concerns relative to personal and/or academic
problems; provides internal and external presentations; maintains all scholarship documentation; other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Minimum two (2) years experience in financial aid operations required. One (1) year of specialized experience in scholarship management preferred. Must possess a working knowledge of Federal/State Financial Aid Programs; experience in an automated office; strong oral and written skills are essential.
