The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for the position of an Assistant Professor of Organic Chemistry.

ROLE of the POSITION
This full-time tenure-track position requires teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in organic chemistry. In addition, mentoring graduate and undergraduate students in a competitive research environment is required. A successful applicant will be expected to contribute and maintain a rigorous, externally funded research program that enhances the research and education mission of the UNLV Chemistry Department.

QUALIFICATIONS
Applicant must hold a doctorate degree in chemistry from a regionally accredited college or university and post-doctoral experience is preferred.

SALARY RANGE
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
