This position is responsible for first level problem determination, problem resolution, problem/incident documentation, and problem escalation for all college supported technical products and services. This includes networks, client/server systems, Colleague systems, PC desktops, laptops, desktop application software, online and locally installed education software, online technical issues, peripheral devices, and others.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related area.
2. Two years experience directly related to disseminating technical advice/training in the area of Computer Science or Information Systems.

CRITERIA: The following criteria, which are not the sole criteria used in the final hiring decision, will be used to review the applications of those persons who meet the stated minimum qualifications and to select those qualified applicants who will be interviewed. Other information and observations made during the interview process may be considered in the selection process. Please ensure that your application and attached documents address the criteria listed below:

1. Extent of experience using Help Desk productivity tools (e.g. Heat, Remedy, School Dude's ITDirect, Track It, etc).
2. Demonstrated excellence in customer service skills.
3. Extent of effective communication skills (oral and written).
4. Evidence of strong organizational skills.
5. Extent of experience creating and maintaining accurate records and files.
6. Experience and knowledge of ERP systems.
7. Experience and knowledge working with MS Active Directory, current versions of MS DOS, Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and remote access systems.
8. Knowledge and experience working with configuring, troubleshooting, repairing, providing end-user support for personal computers, laser and ink-jet printers, image scanning equipment, and Ethernet hardware and cabling systems.
