Duties: The Department of Information Management Systems/Office Systems and Applications at MVCC is seeking an energetic and innovative
individual for a full-time, tenure- track faculty position. This individual will provide instruction in Office Systems and Applications
courses that will prepare students for careers in office management, administrative assisting, and other office-related positions, as well
as coordinate all student internships. The successful candidate will demonstrate familiarity with and a passion for work-based learning and
internships. The candidate will possess advanced Microsoft Office skills, will participate in departmental recruitment and curriculum
development activities, and will be a team-player. He/she will possess the intrinsic motivation to commit to professional development and
training to maintain industry-current technical skills to meet the constantly changing world of technology. The ideal candidate would also
possess Web design and graphic skills. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Administrative Office Management, Career and Technical Education, Office Administration, or any Business Education Application degree. At least one current Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification. Master's degree preferred.
This is a full time tenure track position. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
